JOB
Summary:
Repair and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems for industrial machinery, machine tools and other equipment, including building and facilities.
Maintain, build upon and alter the computerized maintenance software to best serve the needs of the machinery, equipment and building.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES This position reports to the Maintenance supervisor, and works functionally with machine operators and maintenance personnel.
Maintain and adjust preventative and predictive maintenance schedules within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including purchasing and maintaining repair parts inventory, ensuring accuracy throughout.
Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing and facility equipment as instructed.
Inspects and measures parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems.
Troubleshoot and tests electrical / electronic components, transformers, motors, cables, hook-up wiring, as well as facility electrical systems.
Identifies damaged plumbing in fluid power systems and making repairs.
Removes and replaces worn or defective parts of mechanical, electrical, and fluid powers systems.
Realignment of spindles, shafts, and couplings; adjustments to clutches, brakes, and speed controlling devices.
Starts machine and equipment to test operation following repairs or adjustments.
Help perform scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment with visual and audio inspections for identifying potential malfunctions.
Bending and installation of conduit and building wire; installation and repair of lighting fixtures; measure, cut, thread, and installation of piping.
Interior or exterior repairs to building and facilities as needed.
Installation and/or hook-up of newly installed equipment Lockout / Tag out procedures.
Other duties as assigned.

Experience:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
